"Positive
Cash Flow for Entrepreneurs"
WHAT IS FACTORING OR RECEIVABLES FINANCING?
Veterans Distribution Network’s
finance group specializes in purchase order funding and factoring of
accounts receivable invoices for qualified micro-businesses, medical
suppliers and small companies, usually on a modified-recourse basis.
Factoring is the purchase of accounts receivable invoices at a
discount for cash. Purchase Order Funding provides cash upfront to
buy the products required to fulfill contracted orders. There are no
up-front fees or hidden costs, but minimal due diligence fees will apply
on all deals. Veterans Distribution Network believes its funding programs
offer the most flexibility in the marketplace since there are none of the
restrictive characteristics common in the commercial finance industry.
VDN's Funding Group does not normally
request volume commitments or charge non-usage fees to its clients but
whenever they are required, they are kept at a bare minimum. We also have
custom financing programs for special situations. It should be noted
however that VDN only funds businesses that possess government contracts.
Factoring offers small businesses an
alternative way to improve their cash flow situations. Factoring also
increases cash flow with no debt obligation or long term commitment. Factors
generally do not seek to establish an equity position in a struggling
business as many banks and equity investors do. Hence, factoring is not as
dependent as banks and private investors on the financial stability of the
business or its owner. Instead, Factors look at the credit worthiness
of the business firm’s customers and their ability to pay.
